Angelique Rodriguez (she/they) is a NY based queer, Latinx (Puerto Rican) singer-songwriter, model, theatre-maker, and artist born and raised in the Bronx, NY. She graduated Vassar College, class of 2022, where she received her BA in Drama & Psychology. They are currently based in Sunnyside, Queens working as a Program Coordinator for NYU’s McSilver Institute of Poverty, Policy and Research while making music and auditioning in their free time! I believe that my purpose is to use my heart, soul, and art to heal, inspire, and make an impact. Think of it like being an angel on earth. For a long time I’ve felt misunderstood, alone, and hidden because of my identity, upbringing, neurodivergence etc. I want to show others that someone like me, who was called “too sensitive/shy/nice etc.” can embrace themselves and do everything they have ever dreamed of…and you can too.
